THEVILLAGE IS HIRING RESIDENTIAL TREATMENT COUNSELORS FOR ALL SHIFTS AT THE RESIDENTIAL PROGRAMS IN ROSEMONT, PA.
WHERE: theVillage 452 S. Roberts Road, Rosemont, PA 19010; Robinson Hall
WHEN: Monday, December 4, 2017 from 4pm-8pm

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Residential Treatment Counselors (RTCs) provide treatment for up to 56 adolescent females that reside in the residential programs provided on Rosemont, PA. In addition to providing close supervision and maintaining the safety of the residents, the RTCs are responsible for providing treatment interventions, engage the youth in recreational and therapeutic activities and support them through their healing from multiple traumas and mental health diagnosis.

MININUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High School degree or equivalent and at least 2 years working with children or adolescents with mental or behavioral health issues, or bachelor’s degree in human service field (preferred); valid driver’s license from state of residence, be at least 21 years of age; physically able to be active throughout an 8 (or 10) hour shift; follow youth when leaving area and engage in therapeutic holds; and pass all background checks.

FULL-TIME SHIFTS AVAILABLE:
Sunday-Thursday: 3pm-11pm
Tuesday – Saturday: 3pm-11pm
Friday-Monday: Fri. 3pm-11pm, Sat. and Sun. 9am-9pm, Mon. 3pm-11pm
Sunday – Wednesday Overnight: 11pm-9am
Thursday-Saturday Overnight: 11pm-9am

EMERGENCY RESERVE SHIFTS AVAILABLE (must be able to commit to at least one shift weekly):
Monday 3pm-11pm
Friday 3pm-11pm
Saturday 9am-9pm or 3pm-11pm
Sunday 9am-9pm or 3pm-11pm
Any overnight 11pm-9am

This family event will also feature a 1 mile run/walk, a kid’s 100 yard dash, and family activities.

5K registration begins at 8am, race begins at 9am
Kid’s 100 yard dash begins at 10am. Family Activities from 10am – 1pm.
